Inspired by his passion for nature since his early life, the Belgian animal painter Yves Fagniart, born in 1959, has been making naturalistic art over the past several years. Yves Fagniart’s preferred medium of expression is watercolor. His naturalistic approach and his way of reproducing ambiances in nature is what makes the originality of his work. His watercolors are an alliance of light, atmosphere and love for wild animals, the same importance being given to the animal and its habitat. Since more than 10 years Yves Fagniart has been crossing different natural habitats in Europe and Africa to paint wild animals and their living space.
